1. Poke a hole in the dirt: If the soil is too hard, poke a hole with the included bamboo stick to avoid the tip shattering. If the soil is soft or moist, this step can be skipped. Poke from the edge of the pot to avoid damaging the roots.

2. Fill with water: Fill from the tip with water easily through the 1 cm wide opening.

3. Insert the rubber stopper: The rubber stopper is composed of the wick cord and a silicon plug.
